The Winnipeg Metropolitan Region, focused on addressing cross-boundary challenges in Manitoba’s capital, is looking for an adaptable Office Administrator. This position blends executive support with vital administrative tasks, reporting directly to the Executive Director. Candidates should bring a background in providing support to senior leadership, experience in board governance, and a keen ability to manage office operations seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and staff
• Coordinate board governance tasks, including agenda preparation
• Manage front-office communications and visitor interactions
• Liaise for employee benefits and pension administration
• Assist in financial administration and operational procedures
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of progressive administrative experience
• Experience in government or nonprofit sectors preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Discretion in handling sensitive information
