As a Corporate Services Assistant, you will play a key role on the Fuel & Licensing team, supporting the day-to-day administration of both functions. You will assist with transactions such as fuel downloads, maintaining licensing manuals, and managing data within spreadsheets. You will also provide front-line support through regular interaction with Drivers, Operators, and internal departments to ensure efficient operations and a high level of service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide key support for Fuel and Licensing services to Bison Drivers, Operators, and other internal customers.
  • Develop an understanding of core Fuel & Licensing processes, including the fuel network, fuel pricing mechanism, fuel transaction and card administration, licensing/registration procedures to effectively support and guide Drivers and operational teams.
  • Assist with licensing and registration for company tractors, trailers, and Owner Operators added to the fleet.
  • Coordinate the collection of licensing property for off-boarded Operators.
  • Respond to inquiries related to Fuel & Licensing, including permitting, and transponders.
  • Work closely with Fuel & Licensing team members to deliver timely, accurate, and customer-focused service.
  • Support ongoing projects and initiatives within the department as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience with the ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and professionalism.
  • Previous administrative experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate both simple and more complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Adaptable with the ability to shift focus quickly, meet deadlines, and manage time-sensitive work.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering solutions and supporting drivers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, positivity, persistence, and confidentiality.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
