Location: Portage la Prairie
Become an Operations Clerk with the City of Portage la Prairie, focusing on public interaction and data management. This $29.12 per hour role is vital for operational success.
In this role, you will be supporting the Operations Department by receiving public inquiries and maintaining accurate data records. Two to three years of experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office are necessary for success. Regular hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle inquiries from the public as first point of contact
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive data records
• Conduct clerical support duties for the Operations Department
• Utilize office equipment such as printers and fax machines
• Foster effective communication within the department
Requirements:
• High School Grade 12 and additional business coursework
• Over two years of clerical experience required
• Strong skills in Excel and other Microsoft applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
