PAR Administrator

Take charge of financial accuracy as a PAR Administrator with The United Church of Canada. This hybrid role focuses on effective record-keeping and compliance for Pre-Authorized Payments.

The United Church of Canada invites applications for a PAR Administrator in the Pension & Finance Unit. In this one-year term position, you’ll manage client records, verify compliance with Payments Canada standards, and prepare financial documents. Solid mathematical skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for maintaining the PAR database and ensuring prompt financial transactions.

• Administer Pre-Authorized Payments and Remittances
• Maintain and update the PAR database accurately
• Prepare and reconcile monthly electronic transfer files
• Respond to client inquiries on statements and NSF issues
• Collaborate on database updates with IT staff

• Minimum 3 years in data entry and cleansing
• Proficient in Office 365 applications, especially Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage confidential information
• Alignment with The United Church of Canada’s values

Ensure financial integrity and support donor relations as a vital member of the Pension & Finance Unit.
