This permanent role within the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology calls for a proactive individual with a strong background in secretarial tasks. You’ll be responsible for scheduling meetings, coordinating rounds, maintaining physician schedules, and assisting with grant proposals. A commitment to confidentiality and the ability to manage workflows effectively under pressure are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and organize departmental meetings and rounds
• Take minutes and prepare correspondence like agendas
• Maintain physicians' schedules diligently
• Assist in research grant proposals and special projects
• Handle timekeeping responsibilities as required
Requirements:
• Completion of secretarial training program or equivalent
• Minimum two years’ experience in senior secretarial role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of medical terminology and transcription
• Ability to work independently and in teams
