Duties:
- The Executive Policy and Financial Services Branch is seeking to fill three (3) Accounting Clerk positions, including one (1) bilingual position requiring proficiency in both English and French.
- This position requires the incumbent to work on-site and provide front-line customer service to the public.
- Key responsibilities include processing payments related to court-ordered fines, restitution, bail, court fees, and garnishments, as well as reconciling daily payments and preparing deposits.
- Additional duties include data entry, preparing correspondence, processing incoming and outgoing mail, and providing general administrative support.
- The incumbent interacts regularly with members of the public and other stakeholders, both in person and over the phone.
- Is required to lift, carry, push, pull, and move files, records, office supplies, & storage/archive boxes weighing up to 40 lbs, and assists with other departmental responsibilities as required.
