Position: Product Manager (Revenue) - Hybrid )

Product Manager, Digital Advertising

The Globe and Mail is seeking a Product Manager, Digital Advertising to support the continued growth and evolution of our digital advertising business. This hybrid role is based in Toronto and combines product management with category‑led strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and enhancement of digital advertising products and capabilities.
  • Translate business priorities into clear product roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Revenue, Marketing, Editorial, Data, and Technology to design and implement client‑focused solutions.
  • Partner with Revenue Management on product pricing, packaging, and positioning.
  • Evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Support category strategy across key verticals (Finance, Technology, Insurance, Education, Business).
  • Analyze market trends, audience behaviour, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
  • Translate insights into clear materials and recommendations that support Sales and Marketing efforts.
  • Develop go‑to‑market frameworks and work with Editorial and Content teams to identify relevant integration opportunities.
  • Equip Sales teams with the information, tools, and materials needed to represent our products effectively.
  • Contribute to RFP responses, client presentations, and proactive proposals.
  • Help ensure product positioning is clear, consistent, and aligned with market needs.
  • Support prioritization of key opportunities and accounts.
  • Work with external vendors to identify and implement new revenue opportunities.
  • Contribute to initiatives related to brand safety, ad quality, and compliance.
  • Monitor product and category performance using data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and drive stronger revenue outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between product development, go‑to‑market efforts, and business objectives.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, digital media operations, ad tech, advertising sales, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working across cross‑functional teams to deliver projects and initiatives.
  • Robust written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working with external partners or vendors is an asset.
Compensation and Incentives

The base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $126,000 per year, depending on experience, technical skill, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Candidates who meet the role’s requirements can expect to be near the midpoint of this range, while the upper end is reserved for specialized expertise or a strong track record of success in comparable roles.

This role may be eligible for The Globe’s Sales Incentive Plan, which is based on a combination of corporate and revenue objectives and rewards individual performance.
