The Toronto Business Development Centre is looking for an experienced Business Advisor in Central Toronto. You will coordinate community programs designed to enhance entrepreneurial skills among participants. Your background must include key advisory capabilities, helping aspiring entrepreneurs navigate their journey toward self-employment while ensuring impactful program delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate delivery of workshops and advisory services
- Mentor participants on launching successful businesses
- Recruit expert speakers for program sessions
- Collect and analyze participant feedback for improvements
- Contribute to the refinement of programming initiatives
- 5+ years of personal experience with small business
- Proven facilitation skills using diverse presentation methods
- Knowledge in Marketing, Sales, Accounting, or Operations
- Mentoring experience with a variety of businesses
- Robust communication and coaching abilities
