In this key position, you will contribute to UBCO Athletics & Recreation by ensuring all sports information and event operations align with national regulations.

Your role includes collaborating on promotional content, managing live scorekeeping, and leading game day logistics. Engage with staff and student team members to create a thriving environment for athletes and spectators alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Canada West and U SPORTS guidelines

• Lead video board production and event scripting

• Write and edit communications for various audiences

• Maintain the UBCO Heat website and social media channels

• Train and supervise student staff in their roles
Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in media, communications, or related field

• Minimum four years of relevant experience

• Leadership and organizational skills required

• Strong written and oral communication abilities

• Capacity to handle high-pressure situations
