Join Valard Construction in Headingley, MB, as the Small Tools Program Lead. Oversee a dedicated team while ensuring efficient tool management and travel across Canada.
Reporting directly to the Fleet Business Manager, you will take charge of the Tool Coordination team and the operational aspects of Valard's small tools program. This role requires strong leadership in managing inventory, implementing standardized processes, and monitoring compliance at project sites. You will also develop training programs for various roles, integrating tool demand with operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coach and lead the Tool Coordination team for all projects
• Set up project tool cribs and ensure compliance
• Conduct inventory management and tool certification
• Oversee procurement governance and budget input
• Facilitate training on procurement processes and tool maintenance
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
• Supervisory experience in a tools management context
• Proficient in Tool Watch or similar inventory systems
• Willingness to travel across Canada frequently
