Make an impact at Export Development Canada as a Senior Policy Advisor focusing on sustainability and human rights. This hybrid role is pivotal for policy innovation and stakeholder engagement.
As part of EDC’s Sustainability Policy & Research team, you will utilize your expertise in policy development to address complex human rights issues. With a minimum of seven years in relevant sectors, you will influence strategic advice and help redefine policies for better alignment and coherence across EDC's operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate implementation of human rights policies
- Update EDC’s environmental and social risk policies
- Monitor emerging trends in social risk regulation
- Develop research products for strategic decision-making
- Engage in forums representing EDC’s stance on rights
- Degree in public administration or international development
- Proven experience in policy, risk, and sustainability
- Experience with banking and financial products
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
Contribute your skills to position EDC as a leader in sustainable finance and human rights advocacy.
