Role SummaryThe SIOP Aftermarket Network Specialist will be responsible for managing the shop visit plan for assigned market segments. The selected candidate will identify potential risks and work with the different business units to apply corrective actions that ensure the shop visit plan is executed effectively. This position requires a solid understanding of demand across a range of products, shop capacity, and SIOP processes to ensure timely delivery to customers.
The incumbent will build strong relationships to consolidate information and will act as an influential leader by coordinating and maintaining monthly planning meetings, including consensus and SIOP reviews.
Responsibilities- Lead monthly SIOP reviews with Programs, Sales, Finance, Spare Parts, and internal and external Operations organizations.
- Evaluate medium- and long-term engine demand conditions with the support of the Programs and Sales organizations.
- Evaluate issues impacting the plan and engage the required groups to develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate market conditions and customer demand changes to the management team.
- Design and present high-quality visual presentations to management teams using PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
- Ensure deadlines set by management are met while delivering clear, concise, and high‑quality work.
- Apply strong data analysis skills to identify opportunities, customer demand patterns, risks, and trends.
- Coordinate customer requests with the relevant business units.
- Improve existing processes and manage projects to strengthen integrated planning.
- Conduct process and business audits, as required.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset.
- Define and implement KPIs and reports to drive business improvements.
- University degree in engineering, business administration, operations management, supply chain management, data analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in SIOP, MRO, supply chain planning, operations planning, aftermarket, or a similar role.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills.
- Ability to analyze large operational datasets.
- Solid communication, initiative, ownership, mobilization, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to influence and operate in a complex environment.
- Comfort working with ambiguous data from shops and ability to challenge numbers diplomatically.
- Understanding of SIOP and strategic planning process principles and practices is considered an asset.
- Curiosity about engine and MRO operations.
- This position is part of a French‑speaking work environment. It requires a very good knowledge of English to read, understand, and use daily documentation and technical terminology from international organizations, and to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
