Description:
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing and growing key client relationships within the credit union sector throughout Canada. This role will oversee all account activities related to core banking, digital banking, managed services, cybersecurity, and emerging technology advisory. The Director Consulting Services will play a critical role in business development, client success, financial performance, and strategic oversight of assigned accounts.
This role is based in Winnipeg or Regina and is an on-site role.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned credit union clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and alignment with client business goals.
. Business Development & Growth:
Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities in core banking, digital banking, managed services, cybersecurity, and technology advisory.
. Strategic Account Planning:
Develop and execute strategic account plans, ensuring client needs are met with tailored solutions and services.
. Financial Oversight:
Manage pricing, profitability, and revenue forecasting for assigned accounts, ensuring financial targets are met.
. Cross-functional Leadership:
Work closely with internal teams, including delivery, operations, and professional services, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
. Governance & Compliance:
Oversee governance and risk management for client engagements, ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations and security best practices.
. Client Success & Retention:
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, proactively addressing challenges, and leading renewals and contract negotiations.
. Market & Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to guide business development strategies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 10+ years of experience in account management, business development, or consulting, preferably in financial services or technology solutions for financial institutions.
. Deep understanding of credit union operations, core banking, digital banking, cybersecurity, and managed services.
. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing multi-million-dollar accounts.
. Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing, profitability analysis, and contract negotiation.
. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage C-suite executives.
. Experience working in a matrixed environment, collaborating across multiple business units and service lines.
. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related field (MBA is a strong asset).
