Payroll & Benefits Specialist

YFNED is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic, forward-thinking finance team. The successful candidate will be passionate about payroll, committed to accuracy, and dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
The position oversees end-to-end payroll processing, employee benefits administration, statutory deductions and remittances, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and reporting requirements. You are detail-oriented and demonstrate a commitment to confidentiality. Other responsibilities include preparing mandatory employment reports, and contributing to general accounting functions, including our annual audit.
The ideal candidate has five or more years of payroll and benefits experience, strong knowledge of payroll legislation, and experience with employee information systems. Position requirements include a pre-employment criminal records check with vulnerable sector clearance. A valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal transportation are desirable. A payroll designation and experience with UKG are considered assets.
