Main functions
  • Perform primary accounting functions following clearly defined procedures.
  • Provide professional and efficient service to external and internal clients.
  • Prepare electronic or postal correspondence.
  • Verify account accuracy, discover the origin of discrepancies and reconcile them.
  • Carry out tasks based on provided training, reference documents and standardized processes.
  • Calculate financial evaluations using manuals, tariffs or other sources for pricing or investigation purposes.
  • Identify process and procedure discrepancies for review.
  • Initiate primary or intermediate communication to investigate missing or inadequate data or documents.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of office work experience;
  • Ongoing diploma in accounting, finance or a related field, an asset;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills;
  • Solid customer service skills;
  • Ability not only to multitask, but also to anticipate processes to follow before receiving a request to that effect;
  • Ability to generate reports, analyze data and prepare spreadsheets;
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office software;
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise judgment;
  • Bilingualism, an asset;
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
