Position: Database Reports Analyst (Mobile Crisis Response Team)

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Database Reports Analyst (Mobile Crisis Response Team) Full Time Position – Winnipeg, MB

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Database Reports Analyst is responsible for maintaining and updating client data in the electronic database, generating reports, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with management, team members, and frontline service providers. This role involves handling highly sensitive, confidential, and private information in accordance with privacy protection laws, including PHIA, FIPPA, and the First Nations Principles of OCAP.

The Database Reports Analyst will provide reports to the Program Manager as requested, including monthly statistics, quarterly and annual reports, and other relevant data from the secure electronic MCRT database. Proficiency in navigating computer systems and web-based platforms is essential, along with the ability to identify and address gaps in data reporting.

Attention to detail is critical, as the incumbent will be working with confidential information.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with The Person al Health Information Act (PHIA).
  • Collaborate with frontline service providers to gather client data (e.g., full name, date of birth, 10-digit Certificate of Indian Status number, service provider name, and service dates).
  • Develop a strong understanding of the MCRT database and its functionalities.
  • Participate in database training, updates, and provide feedback on technical bugs or program performance issues.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in collaboration with the Program Manager.
  • Ensure data completeness and accuracy prior to database entry.
  • Acquire additional information from frontline staff to obtain missing data components.
  • Work inclusively with gender-diverse individuals, persons with disabilities, and Elders.
  • Mobile Crisis Response Team responds to States of Emergency supports for First Nations; there will be a temporary role adjustment/assignment which may be off-site from your normal station. Travel may or may not be necessitated to accomplish the goals of support during these times.
  • MKO is political advocacy organization that works to represent the leadership and member First Nations. All staff at MKO may be given other duties as assigned that enable MKO to fulfill the mandate and responsibility to its member communities.
Education and Experience
  • Post-secondary Education or Certification in Business Administration, Database Administration, or Administrative Assistant is preferred.
  • Vocational training, or a combination of relevant work and years of experience in similar roles may be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft:
    Word, Outlook, Excel, Co-Pilot, and Publisher.
  • Able to disseminate information for data entry.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to speak Cree or Dene is a definite asset.
  • Must produce satisfactory Criminal Record, Child Abuse Registry, Adult Abuse Registry, and Vulnerable Sector checks.
  • Valid Class 5F driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Preference will be given to First Nations candidates.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience
