Temporary Project Manager

Lead innovative projects as a temporary Project Manager with the City of Winnipeg, working in a hybrid environment. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve active transportation initiatives effectively.

Under the guidance of the Senior Active Transportation Planner, you will manage various projects including bikeway planning and design. Your expertise in project delivery will ensure optimal efficiency and stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycle. You will foster teamwork, maintain high standards, and support organizational performance through continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project management guidance to ensure successful project implementation

• Develop and manage procurement processes and contracts

• Oversee Design Management and project turnover processes

• Develop comprehensive Business Cases and Investment Strategies

• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the project

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields; PMP designation required

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Project Delivery

• Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License

• Change Management training is an asset

• Strong communication and analytical skills
