We are seeking an Intermediate Risk Management Specialist specializing in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) to support a federal client in Winnipeg on a 5-month contract
.
The successful candidate will conduct Workplace Hazard Assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) identify workplace hazards, assess risk levels, and recommend appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct workplace hazard assessments and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs).
- Interview employees and stakeholders to understand job tasks, work environments, and equipment usage.
- Identify, assess, and classify workplace hazards.
- Develop and recommend hazard control and risk mitigation measures.
- Prepare JHA documentation, reports, and safety recommendations.
- Coordinate assessment activities with client representatives and stakeholders.
- University degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation (mandatory).
- Experience in workplace Hazard Assessment and job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Strong analytical, interviewing, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Winnipeg.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Reliability Security Clearance.
