Advance economic reconciliation in Manitoba as a Business Development Liaison within the Indigenous Economic Partnerships Division. Engage with Indigenous governments and businesses to support wind energy initiatives.
The Department of Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures is seeking a candidate for the Business Development Liaison role. This position focuses on enhancing participation in Manitoba's Indigenous Loan Guarantee Program, facilitating collaboration among Indigenous nations, wind developers, and partners. You will also create communications materials and conduct research to improve program delivery and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Indigenous nations in economic development initiatives
• Develop and deliver communications and program resources
• Conduct research and analysis for program improvement
• Foster partnerships among government and industry stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to enhance program effectiveness
Requirements:
• Proven customer service experience in government or finance
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Knowledge of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit governance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Bilingual communication skills in French preferred
Contribute to Indigenous economic development and foster collaboration in Manitoba's wind energy sector.
