We are looking for a casual or part-time Sewing Machine Operator to join our team.

This role offers
flexible hours and the opportunity to work on a variety of garments. While we are currently hiring for casual or part-time work, there is potential for a transition to full-time as our team grows.

Responsibilities:

• Sew bamboo and cotton jersey garments such as jackets, dresses, tops, leggings, pants, and accessories.
• Assemble pre-cut fabric pieces, including pockets, flaps, binding, piping, hoods, sleeves, and linings.
• Inspect fabric pieces before sewing to ensure quality standards.
• Work as part of a collaborative sewing team to meet quality and production goals.
• Maintain health, safety, and company policies in the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial sewing machines (single needle, serger, mini-serger, cover-stitch, binding machines) is preferred.
• Prior experience in apparel manufacturing is an asset but not required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a good attendance record.
