As a permanent Video journalist with CBC/Radio-Canada, you will play a key role in delivering daily news stories that engage the local Granby community. Working under the guidance of Émilie Richard, the Associate Managing Editor, you will be responsible for crafting original narratives across various media formats, ensuring information is accessible and impactful. The position requires a strong command of French and a creative approach to journalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce daily news stories for diverse platforms

• Conduct independent research and news gathering

• Creatively package news for digital and broadcast

• Maintain a network of journalistic contacts

• Contribute to radio programs and on-air segments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in journalism

• At least three years of journalism experience

• Proficient in storytelling across various platforms

• Skilled with Adobe Premiere editing tools

• Outstanding writing and interviewing capabilities
