Job Summary
The Assistant Content & Video Coordinator will assist with digital content creation for the LA Kings, including shooting, editing, and producing engaging video and photo content for social media, digital platforms, in-game presentation, and marketing campaigns. Responsibilities include logging game footage, supporting on-location shoots, editing content, and assisting with research and office tasks.
Essential Functions
Assist with editing and organizing video/photo content for social, digital, and marketing use.
Support video shoots with lighting, audio, gear setup, and content capture.
Log game footage, b-roll, and behind-the-scenes content for archiving.
Act as a secondary shooter at practices, events, interviews, and game days.
Collaborate on game highlights, social clips, and in-arena content.
Assist with departmental administrative tasks including research, gear organization, and data storage.
Required Qualifications
College training in film or broadcast journalism.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; ability to learn business systems.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Teamwork skills to meet deadlines.
Qualification Standards
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Focus in Film or Broadcast Journalism preferred.
Experience
0-2 years related experience.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro CC preferred.
Shooting on professional-grade video cameras is a plus.
Payscale: $18.00 - $20.00
