Field Reporter-Editor at CBC RDI

As a permanent team member at ICI RDI, your mission will be to independently research, create, and present news content, primarily for television and digital media. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent judgment while reporting and possess a creative approach to fact-gathering. Full-time, on-site work with flexibility for travel is a core part of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and present news stories independently

• Deliver live reports on various media platforms

• Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Plan and organize daily assignments to meet deadlines

• Follow CBC/Radio-Canada policies and practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• At least three years in field reporting

• Proficiency in French for effective communication

• Strong understanding of broadcasting principles

• Valid driver’s license relevant to the job
