Key Responsibilities:
• Pitch original story ideas and daily research
• Report and cover breaking news stories
• Write and adapt content for multi-platform use
• Prepare scripts highlighting visuals and content
• Collaborate with team to ensure editorial quality
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in journalism or related field
• Demonstrated journalism experience
• Knowledge of Canadian Press regulations
• Strong communication around Indigenous matters
• Proficient in computer and broadcast technology
