Join the vibrant CTV Your Morning Winnipeg team as a Weather Anchor, delivering engaging weather updates and community information both live and pre-recorded. Your expert presentation will connect with audiences across all platforms.

This full-time, onsite position demands a degree in Broadcast Journalism and at least 5 years of reporting and anchoring experience. You’ll excel in delivering lively weather segments, collaborating with producers on sponsored content, and showcasing your strong journalistic skills. Adaptability to on-air deadlines is essential, as are your writing, presentation, and ad-libbing talents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lively on-air weather segments consistently

• Collaborate on sponsored content with sponsors and community partners

• Create and update weather content across digital platforms

• Enhance news stories with engaging presentation

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Broadcast Journalism

• Minimum 5 years of reporting and anchoring experience

• Proven live reporting experience

• Advanced social media skills

• Computer literacy with iNews & WSI as an asset
