Job Description

• Preparing and presenting weather and community information live and pre‑recorded as part of the CTV Your Morning Winnipeg team.
• Engaging on‑air in natural, lively banter with the morning show team.
• Working closely with producers and the Sales team to execute sponsored content, including live or pre‑taped interviews with clients, sponsors and community partners.
• Creating and updating content across all digital platforms.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• A degree or diploma from an accredited Broadcast Journalism program.
• Minimum of 5 years of reporting and anchoring experience.
• Strong journalistic, organisational and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple demands and the pressures of on‑air deadlines.
• Proven ability as a live‑to‑air reporter.
• Experience presenting weather on air.
• Excellent writing, presentation and ad‑libbing skills.
• Ability to work well in a deadline‑driven team environment.
• Advanced social media skills (Facebook, You Tube & Tik Tok).
• Excellent computer literacy; experience with iNews & WSI an asset.
