In this role, you will harness at least two years of city-writing experience to lead and mentor contributors effectively. Engaging in regular editorial meetings is crucial, and you'll be instrumental in shaping cover features while ensuring that all contributions meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the managing editor to create weekly story lists

• Assign articles and collect submissions weekly

• Ensure the editorial section maintains balance

• Offer constructive feedback to contributors

• Join pitch and editorial meetings consistently

Requirements:

• At least 2 years in city/news-style writing

• Experienced in editing and mentoring

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written

• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

• Familiarity with Google Drive and Docs
