As a key member of our team, you will research and create engaging content for our community-focused radio channel. You’ll cover topics that matter to multicultural and Indigenous communities, while bringing your creativity and journalistic integrity to the forefront.
Your role also includes working in collaboration with our production team and staying updated on cultural and current affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and develop multimedia stories for diverse communities
• Write, edit, and produce engaging radio segments
• Conduct interviews with community figures and leaders
• Collaborate with production staff for quality storytelling
• Maintain the weekly radio schedule, ensuring timely content delivery
Requirements:
• Degree in Journalism or Communications
• 1-2 years’ experience in radio journalism
• Strong writing and editing abilities
• Proficiency in audio editing software
• Excellent interviewing and collaborative skills
