Join a dynamic team at U Multicultural in Winnipeg as a Radio Journalist/Producer. This full-time position focuses on creating engaging stories that reflect Canada’s multicultural fabric.
As part of our mission-driven organization, you’ll dive into research, writing, and production of compelling radio segments and interviews. Your work will spotlight diverse voices and community-driven content. Collaborating with our production team, you will ensure high-quality audio and storytelling while adhering to journalistic standards and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and develop multicultural story ideas
• Produce and edit radio segments and news reports
• Conduct interviews with key community members
• Collaborate on quality audio production
• Maintain the weekly radio programming schedule
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Journalism or related field
• 1-2 years in radio journalism or similar role
• Proficient writing and editing capabilities
• Familiarity with audio editing tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
