Value Partners Investments (VPI) is looking for a creative and talented Video Editor. Reporting to the Senior Video Editor, the successful candidate will be responsible for filming, editing, and designing professional and visually appealing marketing materials. We are seeking a reliable and organized team member to elevate our communication and transparency with our advisors, clients and staff.

Founded in 2005, Value Partners Investments (VPI) is a Winnipeg-based investment firm that currently manages over $6.9 Billion in assets primarily through nine investment funds as well as through Value Partners Investment Counsel (VPIC) which provides discretionary investment management services to wealthy families across Canada. What

You Will Do
  • Edit and produce engaging marketing video content, including explainer videos, interview features, live stream broadcasts, and recorded corporate events.
  • Assist with the physical setup, multi-camera recording/filming, and teardown for studio productions and live events.
  • Design dynamic motion graphics and visual assets derived from external sources, such as charts and visuals from PowerPoint presentations.
  • Provide end-to-end post-production support on miscellaneous corporate video projects as needed.
  • Consistently improve the professionalism, visual appeal, and branding consistency across all videos.
What you will bring
  • Post-secondary education in video production or broadcasting.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop).
  • Experience with live broadcast tools such as vMix or OBS is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency with video/audio communication platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to turn complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand graphics and visuals.
  • Experience meeting digital accessibility standards (PDF, PowerPoint, Video, Web)

The base salary for this position is between $62,800 - $94,200 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
