We seek an experienced, community-minded Senior Accountant to strengthen our financial operations. In this role, you will help manage client programs, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations and funding agreements. Your insights will drive decision-making and promote long-term sustainability within Indigenous communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage financial operations for client programs and projects
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
• Monitor expenditures and provide in-depth financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements and regulations
• Support audit preparation and coordinate with auditors
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in finance and accounting
• CPA or similar professional designation preferred
• Strong budgeting and financial reporting skills
• Experience with fund accounting and audits
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and governance is valued
