The MMF is hiring a Finance Officer for its Red River Métis Government. This crucial role involves maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and preparing detailed financial reports. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and manage financial reconciliations

• Generate statistical and financial reports for oversight

• Process invoices, vouchers, and general ledger batches

• Ensure efficient payment cycles for all financial obligations

• Assist in developing accounting policies for departmental efficiency

Requirements:

• Educational background in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration

• At least three years of relevant experience in finance

• Proficient in accounting software, preferably Accpac

• Strong knowledge of financial controls and standards

• Valid Manitoba Driver’s license with traveling ability
