Valard Construction Project Accountant

Reporting to the Project Controller, you will leverage your project-based accounting experience to manage full project lifecycle activities, including setup, tracking, billing, and change management. Your robust analytical skills will help maintain accurate financial records and enhance project performance through data-driven insights. Engaging with various stakeholders, you will ensure project profitability and adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Set up new projects with WBS structures for accurate tracking
• Monitor project costs and reconcile discrepancies effectively
• Assist in the billing process and monitor AR status
• Organize month-end accruals and ensure completeness
• Oversee change orders and contribute to financial forecasts

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• At least 3 years of experience in project accounting
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of construction revenue recognition principles
• Experience with Eco Sys or other project control platforms
