Position: Senior Financial Reporting Manager at Extendicare

As the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance and executing month-end close activities. You'll conduct variance analyses and lead cross-functional collaborations to drive financial accuracy. Strong critical thinking and attention to detail are key to succeed in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present detailed financial and variance reports

• Lead the month-end close process for financial accounts

• Support compliance efforts and assist with auditor requests

• Implement process improvements to enhance finance functions

• Guide and develop team members to meet objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• CPA designation is required

• Advanced Excel skills are essential

• Knowledge of IFRS preferred; public company experience is a plus
