Position: Senior Financial Analyst at Northland Power
Join Northland Power in Toronto as a Senior Financial Analyst focusing on precise financial reporting. Drive excellence by preparing IFRS-compliant statements and leading development of management reports.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding Northland Power's financial integrity. You will prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, assist with MD&A, and research complex technical accounting matters. Engage in mentoring team members while collaborating with accounting professionals for timely financial deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements

• Assist in accurate MD&A preparation every quarter

• Develop management reports outlining financial variations

• Research and draft technical accounting memoranda

• Coordinate data globally for financial reporting needs

Requirements:

• CPA designation with public accounting experience

• 3+ years in auditing or accounting advisory

• Deep IFRS knowledge; US GAAP is a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience with Oracle Consolidation tool preferred
