Senior Fractional CFO at Leading Venture Firm

Drive financial strategies as a Senior Fractional CFO at our Toronto-based venture firm. This role requires deep expertise in fund accounting, compliance, and venture operations.

We are on the lookout for a highly experienced Fractional CFO with at least 8 years in finance leadership roles within venture capital or private equity. You'll be responsible for fund accounting and LP reporting while ensuring compliance across various corporate entities. Your negotiating skills will be crucial for managing investments and guiding external advisors.

• Oversee monthly fund accounting and financial reporting
• Ensure corporate compliance and manage tax obligations
• Lead treasury operations including cash management
• Guide a small team and optimize finance operations
• Negotiate venture investments and spin-out agreements

• 8+ years in finance leadership
• Expertise in fund-level and operating-company finances
• Fluency with compliance and tax across entities
• Solid negotiation skills with legal documents
• CPA required; MBA or CFA is advantageous
