Centennial College seeks a Leader in Finance Business Unit Support. This managerial role focuses on providing financial leadership and improving operational processes within business units.
As a Finance Manager, you will guide senior management through comprehensive budget preparation and financial analysis. This position emphasizes building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and promoting best practices in financial management. Your insights will be crucial in navigating complex financial environments and advancing the college's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the financial advisor to assigned portfolios
• Lead financial management and budgeting initiatives
• Develop detailed financial reports for internal and external purposes
• Mentor colleagues in budgeting and financial performance
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and college policies
Requirements:
• 4-year degree in a relevant field such as Finance
• CPA designation or equivalent experience essential
• 7 years of financial management or leadership experience
• Proficient in Excel and financial analytical tools
• Strong skill in communicating complex data clearly
