As an Underwriting Associate with over three years of experience, you will evaluate and recommend mortgage loans, ensuring adherence to guidelines. This position requires strong financial acumen and exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members effectively. Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and recommend CMHC mortgage loans consistently
• Coordinate new loan applications with Account Managers
• Engage with clients throughout the loan process
• Review third-party appraisals and reports for compliance
• Monitor monthly reports and KPIs for improvement
Requirements:
• Over 3 years in commercial real estate finance
• Strong understanding of CMHC policies
• Proficient in financial statement analysis
• Comfortable with CRM data input and analysis
• Exceptional communication skills in both English and French
