Position: Financial Analyst - Hybrid at Northland Power

In this Senior Financial Analyst role, you'll ensure the integrity of Northland Power’s financial reporting. You'll prepare quarterly and annual IFRS-compliant financial statements, assist in developing MD&A, and engage with auditors for thorough reviews. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with accounting professionals to deliver timely reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements

• Assist in accurate MD&A preparation every quarter

• Develop management reports outlining financial variations

• Research and draft technical accounting memoranda

• Coordinate data globally for financial reporting needs

Requirements:

• CPA designation with public accounting experience

• 3+ years in auditing or accounting advisory

• Knowledge of IFRS; US GAAP is an asset

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Preferred experience with Oracle Consolidation tool
