Position: Third-Party Mortgage Underwriter Role

In this role, you will report to the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting and perform detailed reviews of mortgage applications. Building trustworthy partnerships with mortgage brokers and external entities is essential, with a commitment to compliance and service excellence under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process mortgage applications with thorough diligence

• Collaborate with insurers for lending decisions

• Foster positive relationships with external partners

• Streamline application workflows for optimal efficiency

• Generate mortgage commitments within service agreements

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of mortgage underwriting experience

• Relevant education or work experience in the field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Familiarity with mortgage industry practices is a plus
