You will be responsible for reviewing client properties to uncover tax savings opportunities. Additionally, preparation of reports and representation before assessment boards will be key tasks. Mentoring junior tax professionals and managing client accounts efficiently are essential components of this senior-level position. Familiarity with municipal taxation will enhance your effectiveness in negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client records for tax savings opportunities
• Develop and submit detailed reports for clients
• Manage assigned client accounts with care
• Conduct inspections of client operations
• Supervise and train junior tax staff in the field
Requirements:
• 7-10 years in the field of property valuation
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Economics
• AIMA certification preferred; MIMA is an asset
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Contribute to client success in property taxation as a vital part of DMA.
