Oakville Middle Office Manager

Position: Oakville Middle Office Manager – 6-Month Contract
Take charge of Middle Office operations for a leading renewable energy firm in Oakville with this hybrid contract role. Focus on managing trading processes effectively.

As the Middle Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all post-trading activities, ensuring precision and compliance within the organization. This position, based in Oakville, requires collaboration with various teams including trading, finance, and IT, while also being the main contact for external entities. Your efforts will foster a robust post-trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead oversight of trading processes and trade settlements

• Monitor trading limits and implement control actions

• Prepare and submit FERC regulatory filings

• Manage monthly energy and REC hedge settlements

• Oversee P&L reviews and risk performance summaries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in energy or risk management

• Strong knowledge of MTM and related reporting

• Treasury role experience is advantageous

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel
