This role, under the supervision of the Manager of Third Party Residential Underwriting, entails comprehensive reviews of mortgage applications and supporting credit decisions. You will build strong collaborations with mortgage brokers and external partners while ensuring compliance and excellence in service delivery, especially under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly assess and process mortgage applications

• Liaise with insurers to facilitate lending decisions

• Cultivate positive relationships with external partners

• Prioritize application workflows to ensure efficiency

• Create mortgage commitments per service level agreements

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of mortgage underwriting experience

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of mortgage industry practices is beneficial
