Position: Toronto Manager, Actuary for UPP
Lead the actuarial team as a Manager at UPP in Toronto, specializing in pension administration and complex actuarial analysis. This role allows for a hybrid work environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.

In this leadership position, you will manage actuarial activities within two streams: operational support for pension administration and core actuarial services. You will provide technical guidance, oversee pension calculations, and mentor your team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and validate complex pension calculations

• Develop governance frameworks for actuarial processes

• Contribute to funding analysis and actuarial modeling

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field

• ASA/ACIA certification necessary; FSA/FCIA preferred

• 6 to 9 years of pension actuarial background

• Proficiency with actuarial tools like Pro Val

• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
