As part of the financial team, you will manage the preparation and review of SR&ED tax claims, support the accuracy of financial closures, and ensure compliance with both US and Canadian accounting principles. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, maintaining proper documentation and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Built strong interdepartmental relationships will enhance cross-functional support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review tax incentive claims collaboratively
• Oversee income tax audit execution and compliance
• Support timely monthly and yearly close processes
• Ensure adherence to relevant GAAP and policies
• Participate in year-end audits and statutory compliance
Requirements:
• BS/BA in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Moderate knowledge of GAAP regulations
• ERP systems proficiency, particularly Oracle Fusion
• Bilingual:
English and French Canadian
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
