Position: Contract Corporate Accounting Advisor Role

Exceleris is looking for a Corporate Accounting Advisor for a 3-month contract role based in Canada. This position focuses on financial statement preparation and IFRS compliance within a leading investment organization.

Leverage your CPA designation and six years of experience to ensure precise financial reporting and adherence to IFRS standards. This role is pivotal in managing the month-end closure, coordinating audits, and supporting process enhancements. You will also engage with key stakeholders, making your contributions highly visible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bilingual financial statements quarterly and annually

• Manage the month-end close including accruals and journal entries

• Ensure compliance with IFRS regulations

• Coordinate with auditors for annual assessments

• Strengthen internal controls and manage documentation processes

Requirements:

• Must hold a CPA designation

• 6+ years of public accounting experience

• Proficient in IFRS and complex financial reporting

• Background in asset management preferred

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French required
