As a Finance Officer at WCEBP, you will play a crucial role in handling financial administration for the Winnipeg Civic Employees’ Pension Plan and the Winnipeg Police Pension Plan. Your responsibilities will include investment accounting, contribution reconciliation, and preparing financial documentation for audits and reports. Effective communication and strong analytical skills are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile pension contributions and investment portfolios

• Perform financial discrepancies investigations

• Prepare journal entries and supporting audit documentation

• Assist in cash flow monitoring and budget preparation

• Maintain financial tools and reports for decision-making

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field

• Experience in finance, payroll, or pension administration

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Effective communication with various stakeholders
