Whatwill you do?
- Apply your business development experience for prospecting and lead generation with new and existing clients.
- Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation through the review of financial statements, identifying trends, monitoring risk, and assessing credit restructuring.
- Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice.
- Leverage the expertise of RBC by identifying referral opportunities and making introductions with appropriate RBC partners.
- Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute a client contact strategy.
- Champion digital enablement by advocating for the RBC mobile application and wallet, promoting regular usage through client education.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of commercial banking experience.
- Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management.
- Credit skills including risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring, and deal presentation.
- Specialized industry expertise (e.g., real estate, healthcare, agriculture) from a past role.
- Experience with emerging communications and technology: web‑based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Deep knowledge of products and services relevant to your industry specialization.
- New client acquisition skills such as value‑proposition pitching, lead generation, cold calling, and referral solicitation.
- University degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or a related field.
