Job Description

This senior role focuses on professional relationship management and delivering top‑tier financial advice in an end‑to‑end industry, aligning sales, products, risk policy, and market strategies to provide tailored solutions for individual client needs. Your highly‑developed experience with financial analysis, credit, and client acquisition will take centre stage, supported by portfolio management expertise, business acumen, and client service skills.

What

will you do?
  • Apply your business development experience for prospecting and lead generation with new and existing clients.
  • Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation through the review of financial statements, identifying trends, monitoring risk, and assessing credit restructuring.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice.
  • Leverage the expertise of RBC by identifying referral opportunities and making introductions with appropriate RBC partners.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute a client contact strategy.
  • Champion digital enablement by advocating for the RBC mobile application and wallet, promoting regular usage through client education.
What do you need to succeed? Must‑have
  • Minimum 3‑5 years of commercial banking experience.
  • Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management.
  • Credit skills including risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring, and deal presentation.
  • Specialized industry expertise (e.g., real estate, healthcare, agriculture) from a past role.
  • Experience with emerging communications and technology: web‑based meetings, social media, digital banking, and mobile applications.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Deep knowledge of products and services relevant to your industry specialization.
  • New client acquisition skills such as value‑proposition pitching, lead generation, cold calling, and referral solicitation.
  • University degree, ideally in commerce, business administration, or a related field.
