Join a leading Manitoba general contractor as a Cost Controller focused on heavy construction projects. Drive cost tracking and ERP system implementation while supporting financial insights.

This position is for a Junior to Mid-Level professional ready to take on cost management challenges in large construction projects. You will oversee costs, assist with ERP implementation, and perform detailed financial reporting. Interaction with Project Managers and Finance teams will be essential for effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track costs against established budgets and contracts

• Assist with the setup and migration of the new ERP system

• Prepare ad-hoc financial and productivity analysis

• Identify cost variances and potential financial risks

• Provide training on financial tools to internal teams

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Finance or Accounting

• 2–4 years experience in financial analysis or project accounting

• Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous, especially Maestro

• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis tasks

• Experience in a construction-themed work environment
