Position: Controller at The Link Youth Services
Lead financial operations at The Link, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth and families in Manitoba. As a Controller, you'll oversee accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership in a full-time role.

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller is vital for ensuring accurate financial reporting while leading a finance department comprising five staff. This role involves monthly financial transaction reviews, budget preparation, and compliance with financial policies. You'll actively collaborate with the CFO, Board, and department managers to foster effective financial structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor finance department staff of 5

• Review and approve monthly financial transactions

• Prepare and analyze financial statements regularly

• Manage annual operating and capital budgets

• Ensure adherence to internal financial policies

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in financial reporting or related roles

• CPA or equivalent experience required

• Solid leadership and coaching abilities

• Experience in nonprofit financial management preferred

• Strong analytical and organizational skills
